Ranked as number 1# among internet marketers in Los Angeles

I was a pleasant surprise to see myself listed not in just the top 10 on Thumbtack.com, but to be listed as #1. I’m very confident in my work for others in the area of internet marketing (never doubted that). I just didn’t bother to think how I’d compare to my competition. We’ll see how long my #1 ranking sticks around. Regardless, I’m pleased that I am ranked as one of the best. After all, I do my best to offer my best. It’s a rewarding feeling knowing you’ve helped a team or individual go even further.

We Are People, Not Machines.

Great way to give credit where credit is due. Like the credits at the end of the film, people will find it if they are interested. As for those clients who say “no” to any personal promotion of your service in their site’s footer, they don’t have to know about it. :-)

Sometimes there are things beyond a firm’s control. Clients are responsible for final decisions. You gotta go with the flow.

The Year: MMXI - Why Maximize Your Online Business Presence Now

New Years Fireworks 2011 - London

2010 was all about this time, which has finally come: 2011. Lots of change took place so this new year can rock like nothing ever before! Everyone has very high hopes for 2011 and have positioned themselves for success by creating strong web platforms for their businesses (whether they are startups, personalities, or service providers). Why maximize your online business presence this year? Because you are very ripe for it!

In this age, it’s more than just having a website to be seen and heard, it’s about having an online presence. Social media is catching on for a lot of “real-world” business. But, some folks think that having a Twitter account is enough (like just having a website is enough). It’s so much more than that.

Having an online presence is about ongoing interaction between you and your clientele. Three major benefits with a smart and well maintained presence:

  • You create (and sustain) a buzz about yourself that would penetrate your target market and draw in more business or participation.
  • You are easier to be stumbled upon, online.
  • You have a pulse on your clientele about what they are thinking and can create dialog.

Social NetworkWe are social creatures who love to interact. Having blogs, tweets, link posts, video uploads, and such will make you very accessible to your fans and future customers. You can get direct feedback, pick up the pulse of your market, or even get people excited about what you or your group is doing.

The secret to this is this: it’s a facilitation of a community with a shared affinity, and they are rallying around you!

So get yourself out there, expand your exposure. Just be sure to do it well…

…and if it’s JAM’D, it’s well done!
